Matthew Hunt
CEO

I always knew I wanted to become an accountant from when my dad first went self employed while I was at Secondary school. 

I was fortunate enough to get a job straight from school and trained with Rawlinson & Hunter for three years. I then moved jobs to a smaller practice in Wimbledon for 5 years before joining Hilton Sharp & Clarke now Galloways Accounting in Haywards Heath, where I spent a further 9 years.

In 2020 I went off alone to start my passion of running my own practice, March 2020 covid hit however this didn’t slow things down and since then we have grown to a small team and continue to expand the business. 

Being a business myself I live and breathe the challenges your business may face, I’ll always lend a sympathetic ear and enjoy helping clients solve problems. 

A passion of mine is seeing sole traders develop into Limited Companies, take on staff, get their dream home and watching them grow. I have great pride in my client network and value each client I have.

Originally from Cheam in Surrey, I moved to West Sussex in 2013 after marrying my wife and now live in Haywards Heath. 

I have three boys two step sons and one of my own, two Siberian cats and I enjoy travel and exploring new places. Quite often you’ll find me at Goodwood motor circuit getting in some laps.

Kathryn Hunt
COO

Kathryn is responsible for keeping the daily operations of the business running smoothly and is primarily focused on our staff growth programme helping to recruit the right candidates to help grow the business. 

Robyn Edwards
Accountant

Robyn is one of our accountants, she has a wealth of knowledge in Xero and helping clients with their VAT returns, management accounts, year end accounts and tax returns.

Chloe Traynor
Accountant

Chloe is one of our accountants, she has a wealth of knowledge in Quickbooks and helping clients with their VAT returns, management accounts, year end accounts and tax returns.

Julie Miller
Client Manager

Julie works works on our largest clients ensuring we stay on top of them on a regular basis, and that clients have a dedicated point of contact. 

Dylan Hobbs
AAT Apprentice

Dylan has now been with us over a year doing his AAT apprenticeship, after now completing his level 2, he is now moving on to start level 3, he will continue to be attending college to study for an AAT apprenticeship while working the rest of the time gaining valuable knowledge on the job.

Chloe Kenyon
Office Administrator and PA to Matthew

Chloe helps with all our internal client administration, helping to onboard clients and support Matthew with client queries. 

Laura Bartlett
Office Administrator and PA to Matthew

Laura helps with all our internal client administration, helping to keep our systems updated and support Matthew with client queries. 

Nicky Green
Credit Control and PA to Matthew

Nicky joined us in December 2023 and will be handling our internal finances and supporting the rest of the team as we continue to grow, if you have an overdue invoice you'll soon be hearing from her. 

Michelle Barton-Scott
HR

Michelle is responsible for all our HR, ensuring we look after our most important asset our staff. She also helps out our clients with their internal HR issues, and can help to write them contracts of employments too as required.

Emma C
Compliance Manager

Emma joins the team as our compliance manager, with running an accountancy practice comes a lot of client information and personal records, Emma helps to ensure our files are up to date and we're recording the relevant information that we need to.
