Digivolve Accountants is registered with Companies House as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), also known as a Companies House authorised agent. We can complete identity verification remotely for existing clients and people who are not currently Digivolve clients.

Companies House identity verification is a legal requirement for company directors, people with significant control and certain other roles. When you need to verify depends on your role and circumstances, so check the current Companies House guidance on when to verify.
How the remote identity check works
- Complete the secure form below and provide the requested information.
- Digivolve completes the identity check remotely.
- When verification is successful, Digivolve reports it to Companies House.
- Companies House sends your personal code to the email address supplied for the check.
Your Companies House personal code belongs to you. You may need to provide it in connection with relevant company records or filings, so keep it secure.

Do I need to be a Digivolve client?
No. The remote service is available to existing clients and people who are not currently Digivolve clients.
How much does an identity check cost?
The fee is £50 plus VAT for each person checked.
Can the check be completed remotely?
Yes. Digivolve can complete the identity check remotely using the information and evidence requested through the secure form.
What happens after a successful check?
Digivolve reports the successful verification to Companies House. Companies House then sends the individual’s personal code to the email address supplied.
Can I verify directly with Companies House instead?
